Continuous, One-pot Synthesis and Post-Synthetic Modification of NanoMOFs Using Droplet Nanoreactors
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs); also known as porous coordination polymers (PCP) are a class of porous crystalline materials constructed by connecting metal clusters via organic linkers. The possibility of functionalization leads to virtually infinite MOF designs using generic modular methods. Functionalized MOFs can exhibit interesting physical and chemical properties including accelerated ad...
متن کاملPrecursor driven one pot synthesis of wurtzite and chalcopyrite CuFeS2.
A facile precursor dependent single step, one pot solution based synthesis of wurtzite and chalcopyrite polymorphs of CuFeS2 has been developed by reacting a Cu(I) thiourea complex with Fe2(SO4)3 and FeCl3 separately in ethylene glycol. The phases have been characterized by structural refinements, SEM-EDX, TEM-SAED, Raman, UV-Visible spectroscopy and TGA measurements.
متن کاملPot economy and one-pot synthesis
The one-pot synthesis of a target molecule in the same reaction vessel is widely considered to be an efficient approach in synthetic organic chemistry. In this review, the characteristics and limitations of various one-pot syntheses of biologically active molecules are explained, primarily involving organocatalytic methods as key tactics. Besides catalysis, the pot-economy concepts presented he...
متن کاملHeterogeneous Catalyst for the One-Pot Synthesis of 1,8-Dioxodecahydroacridine
An efficient and environmental-friendly synthetic route to 1,8-dioxodecahydroacridines derivatives have been developed via multi-component one-pot Hantzsch reaction of various aldehydes and ammonium acetate with 2 equivalents dimedone in the presence of Phosphorus pentoxide supported on aluminaas catalyst under solvent-free conditions. The present approach offersseveral advantages such as s...
متن کاملOne-pot, low-temperature synthesis of self-doped NaTaO3 nanoclusters for visible-light-driven photocatalysis.
Herein we first report the synthesis of self-doped NaTaO3 nanoclusters using a facile and one-pot low-temperature solvothermal method. Ta(4+) in bulk NaTaO3 greatly narrows its band gap from 3.94 to 1.70 eV and thus extends its photoresponse from the UV to the visible light region, which leads to enhanced visible-light photocatalytic activity for water splitting and dye degradation without load...
